The following codes for language or ethnic group are found in columns 33-34 of the title records in the Master File, and in columns 10-11 of the Thirty-Year File. Codes are shown only for those countries with more than one language group identified in the data. The two-digit number preceding the country name is the country identifier found in columns 1-2 of both files.
