Network Scale-up Method for Heavy Drug Users in Curitiba, Brazil
This study was conducted to evaluate the network scale-up method for estimating the sizes of groups most at-risk for HIV/AIDS. Using 4 different data sources, 2 of which were from other researchers, the authors produced 5 estimates of the number of heavy drug users in Curitiba, Brazil.
Data Release
This data release includes:
- 1 pdf file which contains documentation for the csv files and the R code
- 3 data files in comma-separated values (csv) format
- 3 R programs
- 2 pdf files of the questionnaire (in Portuguese)
By running the R programs, one can reproduce all the results as reported in Salganik et. al. (2011). Please direct any questions to Prof. Matthew Salganik.
